Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters is an organization I am honored to be called a Signature Member! Our annual paintout & show was recently held at the Elkhorn Gallery in Winter Park Colorado, actually the show will continue to hang until after Labor Day weekend. The show was partially hosted by Southwest Art magazine and will be hosting a website of the show which I will add as a link as soon as I get that address. Also check out the link to RMPAP for more information about that organization.
I had the opportunity to paint with my old friends Vic Armstrong & Don Dernovich (hard to believe that we have been painting together each year for 20+ years), I know they are getting older but I'm not!
We had over 40 artist across the country gather for a week plus to paint the mountains and then select several pieces to hang in the gallery (must be painted during the time we are there). A wonderful show and I am honored to be a part of it.
I am showing you some of the pieces I painted while I was there - plus a small piece I did while I still had energies when I returned to Texas. If interested in Elkhorn pieces contact them, others please contact me! Enjoy!
